“The raw product is cultivated on farms in the Taiwanese mountains. HANDO® deliberately does not use mushrooms from China, as there are major environmental problems and the mushrooms are a good reservoir for heavy metals, among other things. Even though Reishi from China has been awarded certificates, we refrain from using it. The sometimes extremely cheap prices there should also lead to skepticism and concerns.
HANDO® also attaches great importance to checking the production conditions on site (no pesticides, no pollutants, extreme hygiene), which is why HANDO® gets-to-know its suppliers personally and visits them regularly”.
