The production process takes several complex steps: After the raw material control the medicinal mushrooms are crushed and ground. For the production of extracts (powder in concentrated form) a kind of concentrated tea or brew is produced with hot water. The substances dissolved in it are retained by subsequent freeze-drying. The concentration of polysaccharides is increased by repeated dehydration. No chemical substances are added.
The Reishi extract obtained is 100% made from the Reishi mushroom and is only filled into capsules after passing the strictest quality control.

PRODUCTION OF NOPAL POWDER

HANDO® stands for high quality standards in the production and processing of Nopal powder. For the production of Hando® Nopal powder only cacti from untouched eco-systems are used.

Nopal: Use as tea or powder

Two species of cacti are particularly important in processing: tea is mainly extracted from the Nopal species “Opuntia ficus indica”. The cacti needed for this grow on natural soils without artificial irrigation and without the use of synthetic fertilizers. This is the only way to ensure the highest quality. In order to achieve optimum drying results, the cactus shreds are placed in foil tunnels. Dried in the sun, they turn black through oxidation. In the drying chambers, Nopal tea retains a lighter colour. There, the Nopal shreds are turned by hand every day. The tea is used to support a cholesterol-conscious diet.
